in English are 5 while number of consonants in English are 21. Number of vowel
sounds are 5 while number of consonant sounds are 24. A phoneme is sound.
Phoneme is the unit of sound Minimum. The number of phonemes in standard
British English is 44. The letters which are written but not spoken are silent.
Tongue, teeth and lips are articulator while face is not articulator. Uttering
with force of breath is Stress. The number of branches of phonetics are 3.
